  • Associate Design DirectorNov 2023 – Feb 2025
  • Senior Product DesignerJul 2022 – Nov 2023

Design leadership & AI adoption

2023 – 2026
  • Led a blended design team of 10–15 from TELUS Digital and TELUS on SmartHome+, the firm’s largest account by revenue and headcount, and stayed hands-on in the strategy for its flagship workstreams.
  • Managed six direct reports over three years and ran their quarterly reviews. Built the business case for each promotion; all six were promoted.
  • Led the team through a major geographic transition across North America and Brazil, onboarding four designers without delivery slipping and bringing attrition and client escalations to zero.
  • Led design on TELUS Digital’s first project in the Middle East, working onsite with client leadership and setting direction for the firm’s growth in the region.
  • Wrote the AI prototyping playbook presented to the design organization for use on all client work, and led its adoption as both a director and a hands-on designer; ranked in the top 5% of AI adopters company-wide.

Top-ranked global insurer — Internal enterprise platform

2026
  • Led discovery and concepting for a 20-year-old internal experimentation and segmentation platform with no prior design practice, taking it from blank slate to build-ready in ten weeks.
  • Turned four user roles and dense requirements into one information architecture and seven core workflows, giving product and engineering a shared roadmap.
  • Built the prototype as working front-end code with AI tools, alongside the client’s engineers and TELUS Digital’s. Concepting took four weeks where traditional delivery took ten or more, and the prototype became the front end the platform shipped on.
  • Ran six moderated concept tests in eight days. The redesigned workflows beat the 30% time-to-complete reduction target by a wide margin.

Leading Middle East bank — Corporate banking platform

2025 – 2026
  • Led the firm’s first corporate-banking project: a nine-week proof of concept for one of the largest banks in the Middle East, spanning payments, approvals, audit history and account services.
  • Architected a reusable design system for the bank’s broader platform portfolio, with React and React Native foundations, Arabic RTL support and WCAG accessibility.
  • Turned five weeks of onsite research into three product directions, then took one to a high-fidelity prototype and presented it to the bank’s leadership.

TELUS Health MyCare — Virtual care app

2025
  • Joined an AI-first product team six months in as hands-on design lead, before it had a design system.
  • Worked with the team to design one booking flow, one health assessment and an AI assistant on shared components, so every service in the app runs on the same three. All three launched, and the weight management and menopause memberships went live on them in May 2026.

TELUS SmartHome+ — Connected home platform

2023 – 2025
  • Brought six separately designed services (security, automation, energy, internet, connected hardware and parental controls) into one information architecture and one contextual home screen, agreed with the CPO up front; new services now ship into that structure.
  • Defined the north star and customer journey for the SmartHome+ AI assistant, which TELUS launched in March 2026.
  • Mapped the SmartEnergy customer journey, which set the roadmap order and still did after I rolled off. Wrote the white-label strategy and UI guidelines that let telecom partners adopt the platform under their own brand.

Earlier client work

2021 – 2023

Designed the veterinarian platform and pet-owner portal for Mars Veterinary Health, online ordering for BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, and a consumer commerce platform for Anheuser-Busch.

Edelman — UX/UI Designer

Sept 2019 – Oct 2021

Washington, DC

  • Led UX and UI for Advil’s COVID-19 information site, live within a week while misinformation about ibuprofen spread. It drew 250,000+ views, and its content reached about 120M social impressions.
  • Owned UX/UI across 10+ accounts in financial services, pharmaceutical, energy and industrial, including Citadel and Citadel Securities, Pfizer, GSK, DuPont, John Deere, Genentech and Shell, and designed Citadel’s employee intranet and intern onboarding application.
  • Created a reusable component-library template that closed the specification gap with a client’s development team and was adopted across accounts.
